  • What are your regular office hours?
    The observatory office is usually open Monday-Friday 9 am to 1 pm. Office hours have been fluid recently. To contact us, either call 302-654-6407 and leave a message, or use the "Contact Us" form on the website. We will respond as quickly as possible.
  • How can I make a reservation for Public Night?
    There are several ways. First, you can use our "Contact Us" form here. Second, you can call the Observatory at 302-654-6407 Monday - Friday between 9 am and 1 pm. Thirdly, you can send email to kimgreenmcao@gmail.com with your request.
  • How much are tickets to Public Night?
    Your support is very important to our continuing programs. We ask for a donation of $10 for adults and $5 for children for all of our programs.
  • How do I make a reservation for the Vernon Lecture?
    You can go to our Vernon Lecture page and click on the Reservations link. Or you can go to our schedule page and click on "Vernon Lecture Reservations". In both cases, you will need to fill out the registration form.
  • Will we be able to look through the telescope on Public Nights?
    Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee that the weather will cooperate for telescope viewing. However, we will still hold our Public Night program, and guest will be treated to a visit to our Planetarium.
  • How do I schedule a special program for my group?
    The best way to schedule a special program is to call the observatory Monday-Friday between the hours of 9 am and 1 pm. You can also send email to kimgreenmcao@gmail.com. Availability will depend on regularly scheduled programs. More information can be found here.
