Mini Moon or Asteroid 2024 PT5- This asteroid is only 33 feet long and 9 times farther away than our moon. It is too far to see with the naked eye. And only very large telescopes can view it.
The Classroom
The classroom is part of a the newer wing housing the 4.5 inch refractor. The wing was built in the 1970s. The classroom hosts visitors on public nights, tours, and special events. The classroom seats about 35 people.
