Mini Moon or Asteroid 2024 PT5- This asteroid is only 33 feet long and 9 times farther away than our moon. It is too far to see with the naked eye. And only very large telescopes can view it.
Childrens Programs
Our Children's programs are geared towards younger astronomers ages 4-12! It is never too early to nurture an interest in astronomy. The Children's Programs feature more interactive activities that can interest young minds. Subjects have included making moon craters, discovering the size of the universe, exploring constellations, the planets and the solar system, and travelling to Mars. To make a reservation, go to the events calendar. You will find a reservation tab at the bottom of the page. In addition, you can contact us or call 302-654-6407. Calls or emails received after 1 PM the day of the event, will not receive reservations.
